We are High School graduates from the Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut. We have decided to take a gap year and start college next Fall. We offer virtual tutoring to school children from Kindergarten through High School.
We know this year will be different from normal, and if we can help provide academic support in our community, we would love to.
Chiara is a recent graduate of Canterbury School in New Milford, CT and currently is living in Brookfield, CT. She plans on attending the University of San Diego as part of the Honors Program next Fall. In high school her favorite classes included math (especially trig!), Spanish, and Biology, which she studied through the AP level. She achieved academic excellence and was on the High Honor Roll every semester. Aside from studying, Chiara was an avid singer and played many leading roles in plays and musicals through the Canterbury Theater Department. She was also a part of the Canterbury Cross Country team. Chiara took part in the Chicken Keepers' Club and Women of Canterbury club. Outside of school, she enjoys dancing, traveling, reading, and cooking.
Ryan is a recent graduate of Canterbury School. He lives in New Milford, Connecticut and will be attending Middlebury College in Vermont next Fall. From pre-K through 8th grade, he attended the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School in Newtown, Connecticut. In high school his favorite subjects were Physics, Calculus, History and Spanish, which he studied through the AP level. He was inducted into the Canterbury Honor Society as a Junior and was the recipient of the Boys' Scholar-Athlete Award. Outside of the classroom he was a Diver on the Varsity Swim/Dive Team, a member of the Varsity Soccer and Crew Teams and involved in Theater throughout. He was also involved in the Chicken Keepers' Club and the Outdoor Club. Outside of school, he enjoys reading and many outdoor activities including skiing, sailing and hiking.
Our goal is to empower students to continue their education past the classroom in order to enhance their learning experience. We strive to inspire students to continue seeking knowledge for the rest of their lives.
